Betis-Getafe tonight: line-ups out, Pellegrini rotates

According to El Desmarque, Real Betis and Getafe meet tonight, Thursday 17 September 2026, at 7pm at the La Cartuja stadium in Seville, for matchday 6 of LaLiga EA Sports 2026-2027. The same outlet has published both starting elevens ahead of kick-off, which is why the fixture has climbed the Spanish trends today: it is match day, and the teamsheets are already out.

El Desmarque lists Betis starting with Valles in goal, a back line of Ángel Ortiz, Natan, Valentín Gómez and Junior Firpo, a midfield of Facundo Bernal, Deossa and Isco, and Antony, Ez Abde and Troy Parrott further forward. For Getafe, the same source names David Soria; Andrés García, Romero, Gudelj, Djené and Davinchi; Mangala and Mario Martín; then Francho, Satriano and Iván. ABC adds an important reading of that Betis sheet: manager Manuel Pellegrini has made seven changes from his previous line-up, a rotation the paper frames around the upcoming fixture against Deportivo rather than any drop in ambition.

On the absences and returns, El Desmarque reports that Betis are without the injured Diego Llorente and Aitor Ruibal, while Dani Ceballos is set to make his home debut off the bench in the second half. The same outlet notes that defender Zaid Romero comes back into the Getafe eleven after serving a suspension, and that the visitors are missing Uche, Juanmi Jiménez and Kiko Femenía, all injured. El Desmarque also points out Getafe's fragile numbers coming in: five points from five games, only three goals scored and none away from home, after a draw with Deportivo last time out.

The form gap is where the sources agree even as they diverge on the details. Cross-referenced coverage (drawing on Infobae, VAVEL and posicionesrealbetis.com) describes Betis as flying, on three straight wins including victories over Real Madrid and Villarreal. There is one point still unsettled between outlets: El Desmarque places Betis second in the table before kick-off, while the cross-referenced sources have them third on twelve points, and put Getafe fifteenth with five. We are flagging that discrepancy rather than resolving it, and Google Trends confirms the pairing is drawing heavy searches across Spain this evening.
